Buddie, dog of mystery, on patrol!

Today while I was on routine patrol I had the uncanny feeling that I was being watched! I put all of my astute canine training into action, when suddenly, I spotted the unsavory character that was spying on me! I quickly sprang into action to avoid their surveillance equipment.

Ha,ha! Buddie the dog of mystery is faster than any human camera speed! Ah, maybe not!

 

There was not a moment to lose, I had to get back the film, ah, memory card from the camera! I could not risk my identity being discovered!

 

I was hot on the trail, I knew that with my skills and intellegence, there was no way my nemesis would escape.

I circle the tree then realized, there was nothing there!

 

I slowly closed in! I could feel the tension in the air as I felt a bead of sweat form on my eyebrow, ah, forehead!

There was no way he would get away from me now. Suddenly I heard it!

"Buddie, get your butt in the house!" The voice of my charge, he too was highly trained in maintaining my cover as a highly pampered lap dog! I quickly fell back into my undercover identity realizing that the suspect was long gone!

I also realized that I was no longer under surveillance. I guess my professionalism and serious demeanor scared them off!

I walked back feeling good knowing that once again Buddie, Buddie, the dog of mystery, had saved the day!

 

Nothing ever gets past me or my incredible investigative skills~

Dear Buddie dog of mystery and Vita the pampered diva

 

As you recall I Buddie, Buddie the dog, dog of mystery had finally received the great revelation as to what my life's oath should be!

I, along with my beautiful, pampered diva, Vita, would guide our fellow canines along this crazy doggie ride we call life!

So today it is with great pride and humility that we answer our first letter to a fellow canine seeking guidance! Okay it's the only letter we have received, but we know many more will come!

So without further ado, here goes:

Dear Buddie and Vita,

I just wanted to let you two know what an inspiration you are to us young doggies. Thanks to your inspiration I have decided to major in journalism at my puppy obedience school. I am not sure if that class is offered before paper training or after "Chasing your tail with style", but I am really excited and can't wait to start!

My question is do you think I should focus on writing at the local level, or should I aspire for the fame and fortune of covering the big dogs?

First of all thank you for your kind comments, Buddie and I are humbled by your sweet words!

I am also glad to hear about your decision to enter into the field of journalism. Just remember it is a real dog-eat-dog world out there. Sometimes when you run with the big dogs you get fleas. At times you might feel like you are just running around in circles chasing your own tail, but in the end it is all so much worth it!

So keep chasing after your dream, tail or car, whatever it is you are after, and do not lose sight of your dream!
